Overview

This website (bilargo.com) does not use analytics, cookies, tracking scripts, or contact forms, and it writes nothing else to your device either — no local storage, no session storage. Browsing it leaves no personal data with us beyond what our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs automatically as part of standard web traffic handling. If you write to us, we process that message too — see “Email Correspondence” below.

Data Controller

The data controller for bilargo.com is Bilargo — Michał Lipski, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland, Aleja Partyzantów 51A, 24-100 Puławy, Poland, NIP 7161515351, REGON 061686949. Contact: privacy@bilargo.com.

Hosting Logs

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, collects standard server logs — IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser user-agent strings — when serving this site. An IP address is personal data, so here is the full picture: we process it for the security and performance of the site (legal basis: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare processes these logs for us, as our processor and on our instructions. On the plan we use, raw request logs are not available to us at all — exporting them is an Enterprise-only feature — and the request-level data we can see, which includes IP addresses, covers the previous seven days and nothing older. We keep no separate copies, and what Cloudflare retains for its own purposes is set out in its privacy policy, linked below. Cloudflare runs a global network: requests are served from its edge servers, while the metadata about those requests is processed in its data centers in the United States and in Europe. Transfers outside the EEA rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in their controller-to-processor module; those clauses form part of Cloudflare’s data processing addendum. Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy describes its own practices.

Email Correspondence

If you write to contact@bilargo.com, privacy@bilargo.com, or security@bilargo.com, we process your email address, any name you give us, the content of your message together with any attachments, and anything further we exchange about the same matter. We use it to answer your inquiry, provide the support you asked for, investigate a security report and respond to it, and handle a request to exercise your data protection rights. The legal bases are: our legitimate interest in handling correspondence addressed to us and in protecting the security of this site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering into one, where your message concerns either of those (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); and our legal obligation to act on a request to exercise your rights under data protection law, which is what the privacy@bilargo.com address is there for (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Our mailboxes are hosted by home.pl S.A. in Poland, so this correspondence stays within the EEA. We keep correspondence until the matter is closed and then for one year; records of a privacy-rights request are kept for five years from our response. We keep anything longer only where that is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or where the law requires it. Writing to us is voluntary: no law and no contract obliges you to. We can only work with what you send us, though — we need an address to reply to, enough of the matter to understand it, and, where the matter concerns a contract, whatever that contract cannot be entered into or performed without. Without those, we may not be able to answer you, help you, or act on your request.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and — where the processing is carried out by automated means and is based on your consent, on the performance of a contract with you, or on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, have it sent directly to another controller. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl). To exercise these rights, write to privacy@bilargo.com.
